Susie Edna Adcock

Susie Edna Adcock, age 96, passed away from natural causes Monday, July 2, 2012 at the Rohr Home in Bartow. Born February 3, 1916 in Bartow, Mrs. Adcock was the daughter of the late James Walter and Sarah Elizabeth Graves. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bartow First Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for many years. Mrs. Adcock is preceded in death by her husband, A.B. Adcock. She is survived by her daughter Betty West and husband Ken of Bartow, two sons; Jimmie A. Adcock of Homeland, and Ben Adcock of Baton Rouge, LA. She also leaves behind twelve grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 East Main Street in Bartow, where the family will receive friends Friday 10:00AM to 11:00AM. Funeral services for Mrs. Adcock will follow at 11:00AM at the funeral home chapel.
