Susan Diane Mccormick

Susan Diane McCormick, age 62, died Friday, November 12, 2010 in Tampa. Mrs. McCormick was born on December 30, 1947 in Vidalia, Georgia. Mrs. McCormick was a homemaker and a member of Lake Ruth Baptist Church in Bartow. She was preceded in death by her father, John E. Knies, mother, Bertha Carver, and step father John W. Carver. Mrs. McCormick is survived by her husband of 32 years, Larry F. McCormick of Bartow, two sisters; Goldie Bowen of Bartow, Johnnyette Boyd of Benkelman, Nebraska, and a brother Larry R. Knies of Polk City. She also leaves behind three nieces; Rebecca Goddert, April Summers, Melodie Newber, and a nephew Paul Bowen, along with several great nieces and nephews. Memorial services for Mrs. McCormick will be held Saturday, November 20th at 11:00am at Lake Ruth Baptist Church, 800 West Clower Street in Bartow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Foundation, 6110 Executive Blvd., Suite 1010, Rockville, MD 20852-9813.
