Susan Young Blackner

Susan Young Blackner, age 55, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2022. She was born April 2, 1967 in Bartow, FL to Elwood & Norma Young. Susan graduated from Bartow High School class of 1985. She was a Judicial Assistant for Polk County Clerk of Courts. She was preceded in death by her father Elwood Young and brother David Young. Susan is survived by her husband of 36 years Raymond Blackner of Mulberry, two sons Tyler Blackner & wife Allison and Joshua Blackner & wife Caryn, two grandsons Paxton Blackner and Rhett Blackner. Mother Norma Young, two sisters Rosemary Golden & husband Mike and Bonnie Byrd & husband Benny, two brothers James Young & wife Theresa and Michael Young & wife Ruby and many nieces & nephews. A Celebration of Susan's Life will be held Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Old Polk County Courthouse, 100 East Main Street in Bartow, FL.
