Stuart Jay Wyatt

Stuart Jay Wyatt, age 62, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at his home in Lakeland. Born August 17, 1959 in Richmond, Indiana, he was the son of the late Rev. Alva E. Wyatt and Ruth Centers Wyatt. He was a Bartow Senior High School graduate, Class of 1977. Stuart was a veteran of the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force Reserve where he served as both a Combat Medic and Aeromedical Evacuation Technician. He served with the U.S. Army at several stateside locations and performed as an entertainer with the U.S. Military's 7th Army Chorus in Stuttgart, Germany. He later worked as a Manager of Production for Bartow Printing. He is survived by a loving family that includes his siblings: Sandra Wyatt Casey of Fort Meade, Barry E. Wyatt (Janice) of Statesboro, GA, Darrell A. Wyatt (Rita) of Bartow, Stephen P. Wyatt (Evelyn) of Clarksville, TN, Lisa D. Wyatt of Franklin, TN and Michael P. Wyatt of Bartow. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Compassionate Care Hospice for all of their support during these past few months. In Lieu of flowers Stuart requested donations be made to American Legion Post #4 Lakeland, Florida. The Funeral service will be private and family only.
