Steven E. McCabe, 64 of Bartow, passed away on August 17, 2017 under the care of the Lakeland Hospice House. A lifelong resident of the area he was a construction worker. Steve touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed. He was born in Burlington, Iowa on August 23, 1954 to Robert and Ella McCabe, He was preceded in death by his father Robert, and is survived by his daughter, Candace McCabe, mother, Ella McCabe of Bartow, sister, Pam Horne of Winter Haven, brother, Randy McCabe of Bartow. Memorial services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Fischer officiating.
