Stacy Ellen Gonzalez , age 36, passed away on August 3, 2024, in Winter Haven FL. She was born on September 21, 1987, in Thomaston, GA. Stacy graduated from Lake Region High School in 2006. She worked for the Polk County School Board in various positions until she graduated from Western Governors University in 2021 and had the opportunity to live one of her greatest dreams and joys which was to become a teacher. She was passionate, dedicated and poured her heart and soul in the classroom and loved her Bruce Wagner Elementary family. She enjoyed sharing time with friends and family, loved coffee, going to church, traveling, shopping and one of her favorite things she enjoyed most of all was going to the beach and soaking up the sun. She was a wonderful mother who always wanted to give her children the best. She was a loyal and supportive wife that gave endless unconditional love. She was an unselfish caring friend who loved her friends dearly. She was a beautiful daughter and sister who treasured her family very much. She was a Christian who loved the Lord and shared her love with the world. She was a ray of sunshine to anyone who met her and has left an incredible void to where she will be missed dearly. Her beautiful soul, radiant smile, warm presence, steadfast dedication to anything she does and her unselfish care for others are something we will never forget. Stacy leaves behind her husband Santiago Gonzalez, baby daughter Lydia Gonzalez, son Gavin Sykes, Father and Mother Ken and Darlene Keene, sister Leigh Mundell and four brothers Shad, Shawn, David and Daniel Keene. Early Entry is at 4:30 pm and Funeral Service Begins at 5:00 pm. Her viewing and visitation will be held at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
