Simone Hopper

Mrs. Simone E. Hopper, age 88, of Bartow, Fla., died Thursday, January 3, 2008, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Lakeland, Fla. A native of Port-a-Prince, Hati, Mrs. Hopper lived in Bartow 4 years, moving from Tampa. She was a homemaker. She was a former Radiological Technologist. She was a member of the First United Congregational Church of Tampa. She was preceded in death by her daughter: Susan Whitehurst; two sons: Bob & Terri Gray. She is survived by husband: Albert L. Hopper of Bartow; 2 Sons Tim B. Hopper of Tyler, Texas & John L. Hopper of Vero Beach; daughter: Patricia Margiotti of Lakeland; eight grandchildren & four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday January 7, 1:00 pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 E. Main Street, Bartow. Interment will follow at 3 pm at Bloomingdale Cemetery, Brandon.
