Shirley B. Dyer

Shirley B. Dyer, age 67, passed away Monday, February 1, 2016 in Highland City. Born August 5, 1948 in Bartow, she was the daughter of the late Teddy and Margie Lowrey. Shirley was a former supervisor at the Publix Bakery Plant and retired after 25 years of service. She will be remembered for her love of travel, antiquing, and her fondness for trips to the beach. She is survived by a loving family that includes her husband of 43 years Bobby Dyer, two daughters: Carla McDaniel (Mark), Danita Raulerson (Mark) all of Lakeland, two sisters: Sharon Kos (Steve) of Arizona, and Sherry Henry (Mark) of Winter Haven. She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Carlo, Christina, Ciarra, Danielle, Eric, Lindsey, Milo, Shealyn, and her great granddaughter Lyla. The family will receive friends Saturday, February 6th from 10am to 11am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Services will follow at 11:00am at the funeral home chapel. Memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale.
