Shirley I. Carroll

Shirley Iris Carroll (79) passed away from congestive heart failure on December 13, 2012. Shirley was a resident of Fort Meade,Florida. She was born on May 8, 1933 in Oneco, Florida. She served with Polk County Transportation and as a manager at WBAR radio station. She enjoyed spending time with her family, camping and traveling in their motorhome. She is survived by her loving husband Herman Floyd Carroll, her sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Paula Carroll of Riverview, FL and Tim and Molly Carroll of Virginia Beach, VA, and by her four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 17th at 11:00 AM at McLean Funeral Home, 306 E. Broadway, Fort Meade, FL 33841. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorial donations be made to Cornerstone Hospice Foundation, 2590 Havendale Blvd. Winter Haven, FL 33881.
