Sherman Register

Sherman Register, age 76, passed away from complications of a stroke Monday, September 29, 2014 in Lakeland. Born February 8, 1938 in Polk City, he was the son of the late Gilford and Lillie (Wheeler) Register. Mr. Register was a Baptist and the owner and operator of R & R Construction in Bartow. Sherman is survived by his wife of 55 years Jearline Register of Bartow, his children: Ed Register (Jan) of Bartow, Cyndi Register Matthews (David) of Winter Haven, his siblings: Bobby Register of Austin, TX, Charles Register (Elaine) of Ocala, Charlotte Walker (Phillip) of Bartow, nine grandchildren: Matt (Kayla), Caitlyn, Josh (Lauren), Hanna, Jacob, Lily, Jared, Brittanny (Matt), Mandy, and four great grandchildren: Colton, Brantley, Dawson, and Blakely. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 30th from 6 PM to 8 PM at the First Baptist Church of Mulberry, 300 S.E. 1st Ave. in Mulberry. Services will follow on Wednesday, October 1st at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Mulberry.
