Sherman Ervin Radford

Bartow - Sherman Ervin Radford , age 75, passed away February 7, 2021 at his Residence in Bartow. Born June 21, 1945 in Jesup, GA to the late James Radford and Lula (Brissel) Radford. He retired as a Truck Driver for Publix . He was a member of Cleveland Heights Baptist Church for over 51 years. He was very involved in the church helping out in various roles. Traveling and spending time with his family were some of the things he enjoyed most . He was preceded in death by his brothers Bill Brissel, David Radford and Thomas Radford. He is survived by a loving family that includes his wife of over 55 years, Sara "Elaine" Radford of Bartow, FL, sons Keith Radford ( Cynthia) & Todd Radford ( Patches) both of Lakeland, daughter-in- love Judy Stover ( Joey) of Bartow, sisters Glenda Grace of Winter Haven & Patricia Robitzsch of Bartow, brother Robert Radford ( Debbie) of Bartow, 8 grandchildren; Christian, Zachary, Chloe, Cole, Morgan and Taylor Radford, Christy Munoz and Stephanie Rich; 4 great grandchildren, Sisters-in-law Pacita Brissel of Mulberry, Deborah Penneywell of Bartow, Betty Radford of Fort Meade & many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Saturday, February 13, 2021 from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM at Cleveland Heights Baptist Church (3120 Cleveland Heights Blvd. Lakeland, FL). A Memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Cleveland Heights Baptist Church Mission Account.
