Rochester - Shawn A. Pawley, age 41, passed away on February 25, 2026, in Rochester, NY. He was born on September 22, 1984, in Bartow, FL. He worked as a Software Engineer. He enjoyed live comedy shows, going to the gun range, video games, and beach trips to Sarasota. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Frank Monroe, Don Pawley, and Joann Pawley. He is survived by his parents Charles & Patty Pawley, fiancée Krystal Overbeck, brother Chris Pawley (Erin), grandmothers Monette Monroe & Willene Pawley, aunts Vicki Monroe, Kelli Sacks (Richard), Rose Morman & Theresa Goins, uncles Ricky Monroe (Kathy), Tim Pawley (Beverly), Dennis Pawley & Luke Pawley (Sherry) and many nieces & nephews. Family will receive friends Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow.
