Shawn M. Montgomery

Lake Wales - Shawn M. Montgomery, age 24, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2014 as result of an auto accident in east Hillsborough county. Born February 2, 1990 in Bartow, FL, Shawn was a resident of Lake Wales, he was also a longtime resident of Frostproof. He was a freight conductor for CSX Railroad. Shawn was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the Florida National Guard. He was survived by his wife, Jade A. Montgomery, two daughters, Elizabeth Sue Montgomery, Winter Haven & Brooke R. Montgomery, Lake Wales; father & mother, Robert & Lisa Montgomery, Lake Wales; two brothers, Chris Montgomery, Lake Wales & Robbie Montgomery, Frostproof; grandmother, Linda Colbert, Lake Wales; father-in-law & mother-in-law, Chris & Annette Yates, Webster, FL. Memorial services will be held Sunday, March 9, 2014, from 1:00 -3:00 PM at the Army National Guard Building, 120 Bartow Municipal Airport, Bartow.
