Sharon "Twinkle" Starr Brown

Bartow- Sharon "Twinkle" Starr Brown, age 79, passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 in Lakeland. Born August 4, 1942 in Bartow she was the daughter of the late George Henry Fletcher and Fern (Buchanon) Fletcher. Mrs. Brown owned and operated Starr Insurance in Lakeland for many years until her retirement. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints , Highlands Ward. Twinkle is survived by a loving family that includes her husband, Michael W. Brown of Bartow, her children: Deborah S. Butler (Robert) of Acworth, GA, Sonja S. Pratt (Dan) of Bartow and Keth G. Fletcher(Stacey) of Bartow, She also leaves behind her siblings: Henry Fletcher of New Port Richey, Bill Fletcher of Sebring, Jeff Fletcher of Bartow, her seven grandchildren: David, Matthew (Jenn), Austin (Alexis), Haley, Sean, Alyx, Ashley along with her great granddaughters: Kaizley, Kaliah, Adilynn, and Emery. She was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, and a member of South Lakeland Moose Lodge. When she wasn't spending time with her grandchildren she was quilting, scrapbooking or reading. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 3rd from 2pm to 4pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Funeral service will follow on Monday, October 4th at 11:00am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 5850 Lakeland, Highlands Road, Lakeland, Florida, 33813.
