Sharon Mccormick Sellers

Sharon McCormick Sellers, 85, of Green Mountain, formerly of Florida, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 19th, 2021 at the home of her son surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Du Quoin, IL, she was a daughter of the late E.F. and Katie Conley McCormick. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lou Sellers, who passed away in 1994. Sharon was a nurse for 30 years. She was a head nurse for 20 years at Burnsville Hospital who loved to sew, do needlework and quilt. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Surviving is her sons: Ron Sellers (Gayle) of Jupiter, FL, Randy Sellers (Tammy) of Green Mountain, NC and Ricky Sellers (Patricia) of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren: Monique Brown, Dustin Sellers, Julia Sellers, Brooke Sellers, Brandon Sellers, Bridgette Sellers and Jared Sellers; great grandchildren: Tyson, Brady, Layla, Brentley Ray and Madelyn Lynn. Several other extended family also survive. Graveside service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, October 30, 2021 at New Hope Cemetery in Fort Meade, FL.
