Sharon Davis

Bartow - Sharon "Sherry Ann" Baxter Davis (69), surrounded by her loving family, peacefully entered into the Kingdom of Heaven on September 26, 2021. Sharon was born on May 31, 1952 in DeFuniak Springs, FL. Overcoming every obstacle in her path, she lived a prosperous life full of love and laughter, supported by her strong love and devotion to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Sharon was a devoted wife and mother who cared for everyone she met as if they were family. In her younger days, she was a talented seamstress, enjoyed cross stitching, and was a dedicated volunteer for the Polk County School Board. She had a deep love for Gator football, as well as spending time at the beach. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Marion Davis; children, Laurie Davis, Thomas Davis (Jennifer), and Charles Davis, and Michael Spears; grandchildren, Tyler and Madeline; brother, Johnny Baxter (Rita); niece, Kim Hobbs (Heath), and nephew, Jonathan Baxter (Pamela); and countless friends that fondly knew her as "Momma Sharon." Family will receive friends on Thursday, October 7, 2021, from 1:30 PM - 2:00 PM. The funeral service will held at 2:00 PM, at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow.
