Scott R. Griffin

Scott R. Griffin, age 74, of Lakeland, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026, at Kindred Hospital Central Tampa. Scott was born on March 7, 1951, in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He was known as a hard worker who could always be counted on, and for his reliability and willingness to help others. Scott enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Some of his happiest moments were the simple ones, especially time spent with his mother playing puzzles and games together. Scott was preceded in death by his son, Braun Griffin, and his brothers John “Jackie” Griffin (Martha), Kevin Griffin, and Mark Griffin. He is survived by his daughter, Tamrah Lancaster of Sanford; his mother, Helen Frissora of Lakeland; his grandsons, Spencer Carroll of Nashville, Illinois, and Bodin Lancaster of Sanford; his sister, Jill Hoyle of Griswold, Connecticut; and several nephews and nieces.
