Sarah E. "Ellie" Lasher

Sarah E. "Ellie" Lasher, age 87, passed away Friday, September 10, 2021 in Fort Meade. Born January 8, 1934 in Colquitt County, GA, she was the daughter of the late Jefferson David and Minnie Lee (Black) Moody. Mrs. Lasher was a Homemaker and a Southern Baptist. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Lasher. Ellie is survived by a loving family that includes her children: Rose Marie Seger (Tommy) of Fort Meade, Bobby Perry Barnes (Susan) of Bartow, William Perry Barnes of Lakeland, Janice Darlene Taylor (Jack) of Newnan, GA and Teresa Lee Lasher of Bartow. She also leaves behind sixteen grandchildren, many great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 16th from 10am to 11am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am at the funeral home.
