Sara M. Lacy, age 78, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center of respiratory failure. Born August 14, 1933 in Bartow, Mrs. Lacy was a resident lifelong resident. She was a home maker. She was a member of Lake Ruth Baptist Church. Mrs. Lacy was survived by her husband: James L. Lacy, Sr; two sons: James L. Lacy, Jr. & Steven W. Lacy, all of Bartow. daughter: Katherine A. Frances, of Alturas; two brothers: Clarence Hall, Jr. of Yorktown, PA & Ronnie Hall of Bartow; three sisters: Joyce Moore & June Garrett both of Bartow; & Beverly Hall of Brandon; 8 grandchildren & 10 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Friday, November 25, 2011 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 26, 2011, at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Bartow. Condolences to family at www.whiddenmcleanfuneralhome.com
