Santos Medina Sr.

Santos Medina Sr. 82 passed away Sunday, February 26, 2012 at his residence in Fort Meade. Born in Del Rio, Texas he moved to Fort Meade in 1978 from Michigan. He worked as a Pipelayer in the Underground Construction Industry and was of the Catholic Faith. Santos is survived by his wife Amada Medina of Fort Meade. Six daughters Graciela Valdez and husband Roy of Kalamazoo, MI, Yolonda Williams of Kalamazoo, MI, Rosalinda Mindling of Stanton, TX, Janie Belk and husband Danny of Copperas Cove, TX, Amy Montz and husband Frank of Lake Placid, FL and Anna Breen and husband Russ of Kemp, TX. Six sons Santos Medina Jr. and wife Angie of Fort Meade, FL, Joe Medina and wife Lisa of San Benito, TX, Fr. Gilbert Medina of Eustis, FL, Roy Medina of Stanton, TX, Rick Medina of Lake Placid, FL and Robert Medina of Cape Coral, FL. One Brother Jose Isaac Medina of Brownsville, TX. One sister Maria Guardiola of Weslaco, TX. Twenty six grandchildren and Fourty one great grandchildren. A visitation will be held Wednesday, February 29th form 6-8pm at McLean Funeral Home 306 East Broadway Fort Meade, FL 33841. Funeral services will follow on Thursday at 10am at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Mission 101 Edgewood Drive, Fort Meade, FL 33841.
