She enjoyed going out to eat and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband John Raymond Wells, Sr., and daughter Heather King Darnell. She is survived by her step children Channa Petrocelli (Ken) of Boiling Springs , NC, John Wells, Jr. (Tracy) of Sebring, James Wells of Polk City, Serina McKenzie (Brian) of Polk City & Jarrod Jensen (Tammy) of Oklahoma City, OK, grandchildren Catherine Darnell of Lakeland, Rogan Darnell of Lakeland & Hannah Darnell of Lakeland, many step grandchildren and many nieces & nephews.
