Sandra Renee Groover

Mrs. Sandra Renee Groover, age 44, passed away February 4, 2011 in Lakeland. Cause is pending investigation. Mrs. Groover was born in Bradenton on July 28, 1966. She worked for Polk County E.M.S. as an Emergency Medical Technician. She is survived by two sons; Billy Groover and wife Jessica of Bartow, Cody Groover of Lakeland, her mother Bonnie Fort Strang and husband Fred of Niagara Falls, Canada, two brothers; Jeff Fort of Lakeland, Mike Davison of Bradenton, sister Diann Greene also of Bradenton, and three grandchildren; Mercedes, Kayla, and Cale. She also leaves behind a great grandmother Nila Frazier of Bartow and her niece Scottie Marie Fort of Dallas, TX. Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 11th from 10 to 11AM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Services will follow at 11:00am at the funeral home chapel.
