Sandra Lee Gibson

Sandra Lee Kreis was born January 2, 1934, in Detroit Michigan to Lester and Lillian Schultz Kreis. Sandy graduated from Michigan State University with a Master's degree in Education and taught 3rd and 4th grade math in Michigan school system while operating a Christmas tree farm with her husband Gordon, who was also a teacher. After retiring, they moved to Clemson, South Carolina. They later relocated to Punta Gorda and Lakeland, Florida, to be closer to friends and family. Survived by son David Schmidt (Karen), step-daughters Beth Burke (Scott) and Genia Jarema (Mark), sister Susan Champine (Russ), nephew Russell Champine, Jr. (Cheryl), niece Karin Ivers (Steve), grandson Garrett Schmidt, personally adopted son Edward Rivers (Chrisy) and loving pet Max. Preceded in death by parents Lester and Lillian Kreis, husband Donald Schmidt and husband Gordon Gibson.
