Samuel M. "Sam" Clark II, 54 died Dec. 30, 2008 at his residence. A native of Wauchula he was a lifelong resident of Bartow and a member of the First United Methodist Church. Sam worked in Law Enforcement for 15 years. Then he retired from the PCEMS as a Paramedic with 20 years of service. A long time HAM Radio operator he enjoyed electronics, four wheeling and riding his Three Wheeled Gold Wing Motorcycle. Sam was also a Private and Commercial ATP Pilot with 30 years of flying experience. He is survived by his loving wife Nanette "Nan" Clark of Bartow; stepdaughters Sara and Anna Cavins of Bartow; Jennifer Chenault of Lakeland; Grandchildren Kaia, Keagan and Christian; Brothers Johnny Colson of Port St. Lucie and Bob Krause of Winter Haven; One Aunt Adella Clark of Roswell, GA. Graveside Services will be held Monday Jan. 5, 2008 at 10am at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow. Donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice 105 Arneson Ave. Auburndale, FL 33823. Whidden-McLean Funeral Home of Bartow is in charge of arrangements.
