Sam Huddleston

Fort Meade - Authur Samuel Huddleston, age 59, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2012 at his residence in Fort Meade of cancer. Born March 18, 1953 in La Follette, TN, Mr. Huddleston was a resident of Fort Meade & Bartow area since 1975, moving from La Follette TN, . He was a heavy equipment operator for IMC & Mosaic Phosphate for over 36 years. He is survived by his wife: Debra Huddleston; son: Michael Huddleston of Bartow; daughter: Nichole Staab of Lakeland; step son: Derreck Melton of Bartow; mother: Anna Belle Douglas and brother: Charles Huddleston, both of La Follette TN; three sisters: Rosie Riggs of Caryville, TN; Brenda Irizarry of Lakeland & Kathy Dobson of La Follette TN & 6 grandchildren. Family will receive friends Wednesday, June 13, 2012, 6- 8 pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow , Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Homeland Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Lakeland Regional Cancer Center, 3525 Lakeland Hills Blvd, Lakeland 33805.
