Sally Miller

Bartow - Sally Miller, age 95, passed away August 27, 2023, at The Club at Bartow. She was born on October 24, 1927, in Luverne, AL. She was a longtime resident of Bartow, a graduate of Summerlin Institute and retired secretary from Floral Ave Elementary School. She was a member of First Baptist Church Bartow and the Bartow Chamber of Commerce. Sally enjoyed going to the beach in Englewood, shelling, fishing, cooking and sewing. She was preceded in death by her husband Earle Miller, son Ross Miler and sister Trixie Womble. She is survived by a loving family that includes her son Mike Miller, daughter -in-law Diane Miller (Ross), along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 31, 2023, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Graveside service will be held Friday, September 1, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Wildwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The American Cancer Society or Good Shepard Hospice.
