Sadie J. Drawdy

Haines City - Sadie June (Beasley) Drawdy, age 84, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018, at home in Haines City. Born November 28, 1933 in Tangerine, Fl. , Sadie was the daughter of the late Ernest and Pansy (Eaton) Beasley, and the sister of the late Evelyn Keller. She was employed by Winter Haven Hospital for over 20 years as a lab technologist and Blood Supervisor. She later retired from Lake Wales Hospital as a lab technologist. Sadie was totally devoted to her family throughout her life and a true lover of animals. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 blessed years: C.D. Drawdy. She is survived by a loving family which includes two daughters and one son: Karen Meredith of Haines City, Charles Drawdy, Jr. (Nancy) of Longboat Key and Pamela Prevatte (Roddy) of Alturas, also leaving behind five grandchildren Tiffany Prevatte of Alturas, Shawn Lee (Wendy) of Winter Haven, Richard Powell (Krystal) of Haines City, Ashland Honaker (John Wesley) of Riverview, Dylan Drawdy of Longboat Key, eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. The family will receive friends Thursday November 1, 2018, from 6-8 P.M. at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow.
