Ruth I. Sowell

Bartow- Ruth I. Sowell, 70, died Tues, Dec 25, 2007, at her residence in Bartow of COPD. A native of Camden, NJ, Mrs Sowell has been a resident of Bartow for 43 yrs, moving fro Pinellas Park. She was a former lunchroom attendent with the Bartow Jr. High School & former owner/operator of Bruce Kaye Trucking of St Petersburg. She is survived by her husband: Floyd H. "Red" Sowell of Bartow; 2 daughters: Carol & Husband Ronnie Warren of Highland City; Linda Miller of Bartow; 2 sisters: Pauline Thornley of Erial,. NJ & Isabelle Thomas of Brigantine, NJ; 3 grandchildren: Matthew Warren of Bartow & Jennifer Warren of Highland City; Nicky & husband Joe Quarles of Winter Haven; great grandchild: Hannah Nicole Quarles of Winter Haven. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, Dec 28, at Bartow Wildwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 105 Arneson Ave, Auburndale 33823.
