Ruth Olga Rhoden

Bartow - Ruth Olga Rhoden, age 95, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021. She was born April 10, 1925 in Chicago, IL to Charles & Olga Rozhon, She was a Homemaker. Ruth faithfully served in Awana for over 70 years and she worked with the Wahneta Girls Club for many years. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Winter Haven. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Olga, Babsie, husband Arnold Rhoden, Jr.. Grandchildren Jimmy Allen, Erica Rhoden and son in law Dave Pence. She is survived by her children Mary Pence, Bruce Rhoden & wife Marla, Chuck Rhoden, and Dorothy Albritton & husband Ted. Grandchildren Bruce Rhoden, Jr. & wife Michelle, Kimberly Rhoden, Jill Rhoden (Tom Willis), Charles Rhoden, Jr. & wife Mary, Pam Rhoden Vaughan, Christy McCorkel & husband Tom, Sandy Murphy & husband Louis, Eddie Pence & wife Cyndee, Paul Pence & wife Charlene, Wendy Watson & husband Eddie, Debbie Pence, William Allen & wife Jill, Jennifer McGee & husband Josh, Trey Ingram, Christin Deluca and Fredrick Surrett. 42 great grandchildren and 22 great great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Monday, March 1, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at 11:00 am at Faith Baptist Church, 2140 Crystal Beach Rd in Winter Haven, FL. Interment will be held at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow, FL.
