Ruth Alice (Liff) Ramsey February 10, 1931 – February 24, 2025 Ruth Alice Ramsey, 94, of Lakeland, Florida, peacefully entered her heavenly home on February 24, 2025. Born on February 10, 1931, in Marion Township, Ohio, to Elmer and Florence Liff, Ruth lived a vibrant and meaningful life filled with faith, family, and service. Ruth was a devoted pastor’s wife, standing faithfully by her husband, Carl Ramsey, in ministry. After retiring from their shared calling, she embraced new adventures, becoming the owner of an auto body repair shop and later a window washing business. A loving wife and mother, Ruth cherished every moment spent with her family. Music was a passion, and she was a gifted musician, able to play multiple instruments with skill and joy. An avid reader, she found delight in the pages of books, and her servant heart shone through in all she did, touching countless lives with her kindness and generosity. Ruth’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Carl Ramsey; her brothers, Elmer Liff and Gene Mason; sister, Kathy Lockhart; daughters Barbara A Smith and Connie M Stickle; grandson Karl David Ramsey and great granddaughter Adora B Crisp. She is survived by her children Alan (Pam) Ramsey, Carl David (Gloria) Ramsey,(Steve Stickle), Cheryl (Roger) Robinson, Elaine Williams, fifteen grandchildren, forty one great grandchildren and twenty one great great grandchildren. There will be no funeral service per the decedent. Ruth Alice Ramsey’s legacy is one of love, faith, and resilience—a melody that will continue to resonate in the lives she touched.
