Ruth Ann Miller

Ruth Ann Miller Seekamp 85, of Bartow, Florida, died April 16, 2011 of respiratory failure at her home. She was born September 5, 1925 in Goshen, NY to Ralph and Bertha Seacord. Ruth Ann was a graduate of Penn State University and worked as a Polk County Extension agent for over 30 years. Ruth Ann had a strong interest in social causes, volunteering and international travel. Family and friends loved her positive outlook and generousity. Survivors include her husband, William Seekamp of Circleville, NY, a son, Craig Miller of Earleton, FL, a daughter Stacy Griffin and husband Kevin of Inverness, FL and 5 grandchildren, Lindsey, Luke and Lauren Miller and Trevor and Kaylee Griffin. A service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Bartow at 11am, April 23rd. In leau of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Florida 4H Foundation, 3103 McCarthy Hall B, Gainesville, Florida 32611 Attn: Albert Gay.
