Ruby Rebecca Hostetler, 88, of Fort Meade, FL, died Sunday, January 16, 2011, at her residence in Fort Meade. Mrs. Hostetler was born July 2, 1922 in Atkinson County, GA. She was a loving wife, mom and grandmother. She has lived in Fort Meade for 66 years. She is preceded in death by her husband; Harry Vernon Hostetler, son; Jerry Hostetler and three brothers; W.M. Mancil, Gerald Mancil, and Junior Mancil. She is suvived by her daughter; Jackie & husband David Ayers of Fort Meade. Three Sons; Harry & wife Merry Hostetler, Roy and wife Shelvie Hostetler both of Fort Meade and Edwin & wife Barbara Hostetler of Winter Haven. sister; Mildred Griffin of Plant City and brother; Jack and wife Annette Mancil of Leesburg. grandchildren; Wendy Smith, Shawn Hostetler, Robin Hostetler, Abbigail Tanner, Parker Tanner, David & wife Jennifer Hostetler Jr., Theresa & husband Dave Prescott, Chris & wife Beatrice Nettles, Kandi Burmaster, Alvin Hostetler, Kathy Jones and Damiah Hostetler. great grandchildren; Abbigail Tanner, Parker Tanner, Silas Prescott, Eli Prescott, Dani Hostetler, Emily Hostetler, Andrew Nettles, Olivia Nettles, Summer Burmaster, Jerrett Burmaster, Jeremy Hostetler, Maci Collier, William Collier, Justus Clanton, Hannah Clanton and Caylin Skipper. great great-Granddaughter, Autumn Hatt. Arrangements are being handled by McLean Funeral Home, 306 East Broadway in Fort Meade, FL, where the family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM Thursday, January 20, 2011. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM Thursday, January 20, 2011 at McLean Funeral Home. Pastor Chuck Smith officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Meade, FL.
