Ruby L. Fry

Ruby L. Fry, age 95, passed away Monday, August 11, 2014 at Kindred Hospital South in Tampa of Natural Causes. Born April 16, 1919 in Omaha, MO, Mrs. Fry was a resident of Bartow since 1965, moving from Columbia, MO. Mrs. Fry was a longtime member of the Bartow First Presbyterian Church and a former member of the Bartow Garden Club . She was an avid Pinochle card player with many of her Bartow friends. Mrs. Fry was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, C.R. "Bob Fry, a brother: Jack Hart and a sister Carole Deputy. She is survived by her daughter: Kimberly Auclair (Denis), Lakeland; a brother: Ronald E Hart, Muscatine, IA; a sister: Ferne Norris, Grinnell, IA; 2 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. A celebration of Ruby's life will be held Sunday, August 17, 2014 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM at the family residence, 5020 Lancelot, Lakeland.
