Ruby Virginia Adkins

Bartow - Ruby Virginia Adkins, age 90, passed away March 1, 2021 at Bartow Regional Medical Center. She was born on December 13, 1930 in Bartow. She was a Dietitian Supervisor for Polk General Hospital for 21 Years, Tampa Tribune Paper Route Driver for 17 years and a Walmart Greeter for 11 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, her cat, cooking and working in the yard. She was preceded in death by her husband Rusty Mooneyham, daughter Barbara Burton, son Steve Mooneyham, sisters Martha Middleton, Lois Boyles, Shirley Hickman and brother Marvin Watts. She is survived by a loving family that includes her daughter Cathy Porterfield , husband Carl Adkins, sister Alvena Newport , grandchildren Melanie Magnuson, Jason Mooneyham and Ryan Mooneyham, great grandchildren Kennedy Magnuson, Liam Magnuson, Justice Mooneyham and Aubrey Mooneyham.
