Ruben Bautista

Ruben Bautista Alvarez, age 55, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2025. He was born March 17, 1970 in Tamazula, Jalisco Mexico to Ruben Bautista Arteaga & Margarita Alvarez Lucatero. Ruben was the Owner & Operator of Bautista Auto Sales & Repair Inc. He assisted for an extended period of time the Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall. Ruben is survived by his wife Gabriela Luviano of Fort Meade, son Ruben Bautista of Fort Meade, son Carlos Bautista of Winter Haven, son Rafael Bautista of Winter Haven, daughter Mireya Morillo of Wauchula, daughter Kaylee Bautista of Fort Meade, son Diego Bautista of Fort Meade, son Gabriel Bautista of Fort Meade and daughter Camila Bautista of Fort Meade, seven brothers and three sisters.

Ruben Bautista lived a humble and hardworking life, defined by quiet strength, endurance, and a deep love for his family. Though he never called himself religious, he was a God-fearing man whose actions reflected the qualities that came naturally from his heart: kindness, responsibility, generosity, and a sincere desire to make things right. He faced life’s struggles with courage and perseverance, always getting back up and inspiring everyone around him through his determination.

He loved the simple but meaningful joys of life. One of his favorite places to find peace was out on the water in his boat, where he spent time with family and enjoyed nature. He was also known for bringing loved ones together for carne asadas—moments filled with good food, laughter, music, and the warmth that he created just by being present. Family was the center of his world, and he poured his whole heart into providing, protecting, and supporting those he loved.

Ruben worked hard in everything he did. Whatever job or task he took on, he gave it his full effort. His strong work ethic, generous spirit, and willingness to help others made a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

In his later years, he grew softer in spirit—more expressive with his love, more tender, and even more devoted to his family. He lived by the conviction that love is a debt worth paying every day. His family will always remember his sense of humor, his warmth, and the way he filled every gathering with joy and unity.

Ruben is survived by his children: Ruben, Carlos, Rafael, Mireya, Kaylee, Diego, Gabriel, and Camila. He also leaves behind many family members and friends who will forever carry his memory with love.

Though his absence leaves an ache that cannot be filled, his legacy of love, unity, faith, and endurance will continue through the lives of those he touched. He is gone for now, but he will never be forgotten.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, December 17, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 at McLean Funeral Home in Fort Meade, FL. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at McLean Funeral Home in Fort Meade. Burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Meade, FL.
