Roy V. White

Roy V. White, age 79, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015 in Winter Haven. Born September 23, 1935 in Milton, Florida, he was the son of the late Murdoch and Ruth (Holliday) White. Roy attend the Naval Academy at Annapolis and graduated from Georgia Tech. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. Roy worked many years as an engineer and later the construction industry. Mr. White was a charter member of Wildwood Baptist Church in Bartow. Along with his parents, Roy is preceded in death by his first wife Nancy Lewis White, his second wife Patricia White, his daughter Debbie, and his siblings: Joe, Mary, and Paul. He is survived by four daughters: Laura Feagle of Hartwell, GA, Lynda White Packard (Matthew) of Damascus, MD, Karen White of Lakeland, Tacy McNeal also of Lakeland, seven grandchildren: Amanda, Brent, Ryan, Michelle, Bradley, Keith, Stacy and five great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 6, 2015 from 1pm to 2pm at Wildwood Baptist Church in Bartow. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00pm at the church.
