Roy C. Locke, Jr.

Roy C. Locke, Jr. age 86, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2015 in Bartow. Born November 21, 1929 in Birmingham, Alabama, he was the son of the late Roy C. Locke, Sr. and Thelma (Jenkins) Locke. Roy was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Korean War. He retired as a circulation manager for Garden Island Newpaper in Hawaii. Roy is survived by his wife of 49 years, June Locke, his son Roy C. Locke, III, and his brother Carl E. Locke (Frances) all of Bartow, along with many nieces and nephews. A private graveside service will be held in Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow.
