Roy C. Locke

Bartow- Roy C. Locke, age 85, passed away at his home in Bartow on Saturday, January 29, 2022. Born June 17, 1936 in Stockport, OH, he was the son of the late Russell Daniel Locke and Helen Mae (Adrian) Locke. Mr. Locke was a Machinist for W.R. Grace, Seminole, Cargill, and finally Mosaic before his retirement. He was the Past Master of the Amesville Masonic Lodge #278 in Amesville, OH. He was a Methodist. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his granddaughter Angela Locke. Mr. Locke is survived by a loving family that includes his wife of 65 years, Louanna Locke of Bartow, his children: George Russell Locke (Connie) of Lakeland, Sharlyn Locke (Steven) of Bartow, Alison Collins (Kenneth) of Jacksonville, FL, Jeff Locke of Bartow, David Locke (Tami) of Bartow, Fran Patterson (Pat) of Bartow and Loy Locke (Amber) of Alturas. He also leaves behind fifteen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 3rd from 10am to 11am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am at the funeral home.
