Ross J. Strickland

Ross J. Strickland, 69, died Tuesday, May 19, 2009, at his residence of heart failure. Born December 1, 1939 in Plant City, Mr. Strickland has been resident of Highland City for over 37 years. He was a member of the US Army Reserve and was a field supervisor for Agrico Chemical for many years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Highland City. He is survived by his wife; Virginia W. Strickland; three daughters: Cheryl Venable of Tampa; Denise Brose of St. Petersburg & Lisa Gordon of Orlando; Son: Chris Warren of Winter Haven; 6 grandchildren & 1 great grandchild. Family will receive friends Friday, May 22, 2009, 10- 11 am at the First Baptist Church of Highland City, 5410 Yaraborough Lane, Highland City. Funeral services will follow 11:00 at the Church.
