Ronnie D. Medders

Ronnie D. Medders, age 64, passed away from A.L.S. Sunday, June 16, 2013 at his home in Fort Meade. Born February 14, 1949 in Bartow, he was the son of the late Alwin Odell and Doris Marie (Rhoden) Medders. Ronnie was baptized in and a member of the Highland City Baptist Church. Ronnie was a Project Engineer for AllNative Systems Inc. in Omaha, Nebraska. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Sue Conner Medders of Fort Meade, his children; Philip "Howie" Albritton of Fort Meade, Heather Pierce (Rusty) of Fort Meade, and Ashley McCracken (David) of Granville, OH. He also leaves behind nine grandchildren, a twin brother Donnie Medders (Leslie) of Bartow, and a sister Rita Alligood (Butch) of Highland City, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 22nd from 10AM to 11AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Bartow, 355 South Florida Ave. in Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 11:00AM at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the ALS Foundation (Central Florida Chapter) 9887 4th Street North, Suite 201, ST. Petersburg, FL 33702 or Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale.
