Fort Meade - Ronnie Johnston, 50, passed away Monday, March 9, 2015 at Osceola Regional Medical Center in Kissimmee, FL. Ronnie was born July 2, 1964 in Avon Park, FL, He was a Heavy Duty Operator for American Construction & Engineering. Ronnie was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. He was preceded in death by his parents John & Bernice Johnston and a brother Dallas Johnston. He is survived by his wife Julie Johnston of Fort Meade, daughter Sarah Jones & husband Hoss of Alturas, son Dallas Johnston of Fort Meade, two sisters Kathy Miller & husband Bill of Whittier, NC and Sharlet Weems & husband Bobby of Wauchula, four brothers Johnny Johnston & wife Donna of Bowling Green, Jack Johnston & wife Selina of Zolfo Springs, Ricky Johnston & wife Kris of Wauchula, Randy Johnston & wife Dora of Avon Park and three grandchildren Ali & Jason Albert and Colby Jones. Family will receive friends Thursday, March 12, 2015 from 6 to 8 pm at McLean Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Friday, March 13, 2015 at 10:00 am at McLean Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Bowling Green Cemetery.
