Ronald Smith

Bartow - Ronald Smith, age 75, passed away July 6, 2021, at his home in Bartow where he had lived since 1972. He was born on January 31, 1946, in Ft. Myers, Florida and served as a Marine in Vietnam. He was a proud Master Gardener who devoted decades of his life to sculpting his bonsai trees and working in the yard. Ron thoroughly enjoyed the many years he spent as a gardener at Bok Tower as well as his work as an Assistant Manager at the Bartow Walmart. He was preceded in death by his beloved sister Judy Holler, but he is survived by a loving family who will miss him greatly. In his last days, he was in the care and company of his wife Marolyn Smith of Bartow, as well as his son Kelly Smith, daughter-in-law Becky Noël Smith, and granddaughter Clara Smith of California.
