Ronald W. Sjoblom

Ronald W. Sjoblom, age 69, passed away Monday, April 11, 2018 in Winter Haven. Born December 16, 1948 in Bradenton, FL, he was the son of the late Oliver E. and Lanora Yvonne (Roysdon) Sjoblom. Mr Sjoblom was a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War, earning two purple hearts during his service. After his service, he worked and retired from IMC-Agrico where he worked as an electrician. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers:  Nathan Sjoblom and Don Sjoblom. Ron is survived by a loving family that includes his son Jeffrey Wayne Sjoblom of Highland City, his step son Jonathan Howarth of Lakeland, his siblings: Lareita Shanks (George) of Bartow, Cheryl Lockhart (Terence) of Highland City, Earl Edward Sjoblom of Bartow and his grandchildren: Cloie Sjoblom and Cody Sjoblom. A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 16th at 5:00pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow.
