Ronald D. Richardson

BARTOW - Ronald D. Richardson, age 74, passed away from heart failure Sunday, April 15, 2012 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale. Born December 23, 1937 in Brewster, FL, he was the son of the late William T. and Clara L. (Surrency) Richardson. Mr. Richardson was a longtime resident of Bartow and worked for Polk County as a Land Fill Equipment Operator. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William T. Richardson, Jr. He is survived by his sister Carolyn L. Hooper, nephews: Dennis Woodring, Gene Richardson, nieces: Janet Fields, Rhonda Rodgers, Rene Skinner, Angela Richardson, and Catherine Rehberg. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends. Services will be held at a later date. Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow.
