Ronald Lee Breton, age 82, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2017 at his home in Bartow. Born August 8, 1935 in Kalamazoo, MI, he moved to the Bartow area at an early age. Mr. Breton was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War. After his service, he spent most of his time working in the cattle and ranching industry. He was a catholic. Mr. Breton is preceded in death by his mother Geraldine Mae Breton, and two granddaughters: Tiffany and Nova Lee Woodham. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Lenora Inez Breton of Bartow, his children: Renee Hays (Jew) of Wauchula, Rodney Breton of Franklin, NC, Teresa Ann Hidle of Bartow, Sonia Mae Breton of Bartow, and Hugh Theodore Breton also of Bartow. He also leaves behind 22 grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 8th from 9am to 11am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Graveside services with military honors will be held later Friday afternoon at 1:30pm at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
