Bartow -Roger Powell , age 74, passed away on May 9, 2025, at his residence in Bartow. He was born on June 1, 1950, in Troy, AL. He was a Caretaker in the Citrus industry. He was a hardworking man that provided for his family. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and making memories. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Powell and 17 siblings. He is survived by his daughter Amanda Jernigan (Rickey), sons Brian Griner, James Powell, Ricky Powell (Nacole), brother Robert Powell, sister Betty Ann Green, grandchildren Sharlena, Christina , Nicholas, Chelsey , Paige, Wyatt, Ashley, Joshua & Tyler , great grandchildren Garret & Indy and many nieces and nephews.
