Lake Wales - Roger Bailey, age 79, passed away March 27, 2023, at his residence in Lake Wales. He was born on December 28, 1943, in Haines City, FL He was a United States Navy Veteran. He worked as a Citrus Inspector for the State of Florida. He enjoyed fishing, building boats, traveling, vegetable gardening and eating. He is survived by a loving family that includes his daughter Laticia Meeks (Jeff), son Roger Dale Bailey II, grandchildren Dustin Bailey (Jessie), Brittany Grier (Josh), Audrie Bailey, Jeffrey Meeks, Jordan Meeks & Jenna Meeks, great grandchildren Ethan Bailey, Avery Bailey, Raelyn Grier & Ellie Brewer and faithful friend (wife) Betty Pittman. Funeral service will be held Thursday, April 6, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Florida National Cemetery.
