Stanton, TX- Roy Medina, 50, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2015 from Pancreatic Cancer. He was born September 27, 1964 in Zeeland, MI. Roy grew up in Fort Meade, FL. He was a Underwater Welder and Deep Sea Diver in the Gulf of Mexico. He was preceded in death by his parents Santos & Amada Medina. He is survivored by daughter Ashley Medina of Sebring, FL. Six sisters Graciela Valdez (Roy) of Kalamazoo, MI, Yolanda Williams of Lake Placid, FL, Rosalinda Mindling of Stanton, TX, Anna Breen (Russ) of Kemp, TX, Janie Belk (Danny) of Copperas Cove, TX and Amy Montz (Frank), Lake Placid, FL. Five brothers Santos Medina, Jr. (Angie) of Fort Meade, FL, Joe Medina (Lisa) of San Benito, FL, Father Gilbert Medina of Sanford, FL, Rick Medina of Lake Placid, FL and Robert Medina of Cape Coral, TX. Family will receive friends Thursday, April 16, 2015 from 6 - 8 pm at McLean Funeral Home, 306 East Broadway in Fort Meade, FL. Funeral service will be held Friday, April 17, 2015, at 10:00 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 101 Edgewood Drive in Fort Meade, FL. Burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Meade, FL.
