Rogelio M. Lopez, age 59, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale. Born September 20, 1952 in Brownsville, TX, Lopez was a resident of Winter Haven for over 30 yrs, moving from Texas, He was a farm crew leader, working in the citrus industry for many years. He is survived by his companion: Inez Fernandez, of Winter Haven; four sons : Rogelio Lopez, Jr.; John Lopez; Alberto Lopez & Ricardo Lopez all of Winter Haven; five daughters: Carmelita Lopez; Maria Teresa Lopez; Linda Lopez; Evangelina Lopez & Maricelda Lopez all of Winter Haven; three step sons: Carmelo Fernandez, Winter Haven; Jessie Fernandez, Zellwood, FL & Ricardo Fernandez, Winter Haven; four step daughters: Mesindo Fernandez, Eloise; Corina Fernandez, Eagle Lake; Veronica Fernandez, Winter Haven & Rosario Fernandez, Winter Haven; three brothers & 2 sisters & 50 grandchildren. Family will receive friends Thursday, June 14, 2012 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 15, 2012, at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Auburndale Cemetery.
