Robert Lee Thomas

Bartow- Robert Lee Thomas, age 76, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 in Bartow. Born November 29, 1944 in Bartow, he was the son of the late Valeen and Flo Rita (Smith) Thomas. Mr. Thomas was a veteran of the U.S. Army and worked as a mechanic for many years in the automotive industry. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his daughter Karry Ann White. He is survived by a loving family that includes his wife of 50 years, Opal Thomas of Bartow, his son Robby Wayne Thomas, his siblings: William Manning, Betty Thigpen, Emma Thigpen, Gale Hamilton, and Dale Manning. He also leaves behind his grandchildren: Robert Dewayne White (Samantha) Cody Lee Dewayne Thomas, Micah Pierce Thomas and great grandchild, Riley Lee White. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 19th from 1pm to 2pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 3:00pm at Cedar Grave Baptist Church Cemetery.
